For the past five years I’ve been traveling to India with my husband. He caught the India bug before I did and since he was already retired he’s been to India fifteen times to my five visits. We spend a lot of time now thinking about India and the work there. We’ve become one of those couples who have to monitor how much we talk about our trips and projects because we see the eyes of our friends and family glazing over as we speak. It’s not as bad as slideshows of our trip to Hawaii last summer (I wish), but nearly as bad. Can’t be helped though, because it’s an astounding place to be and there are ever-new things to learn and understand about it. You can follow our work and read more about the needs in India at www.onehandfulofrice.org.  This picture was taken in Delhi when we attended the wedding of our good friend Rodrick Gilbert.
